A letter to the editor about "Fascinating Feline Fact #1", which previously said that aspirin is poisonous to cats:
Aspirin is not toxic to cats. Cats with thromboembolism and cats with arthritis are often placed on aspirin, usually child size, 1/4 to 1/2 tablet on varying dosage schedules. Perhaps you are thinking of Tylenol which is HIGHLY toxic to cats Please correct your information as it is very misleading. Ellen Guttormson, D.V.M.
Thanks for your input Dr. Guttormson!
